Pinterest Audience Insights: Using what Pinterest knows about your target audience
Yesterday I learned something about how to better connect with the Pinterest audience that I want to reach. This quick and easy tip uses Pinterest Audience Insights.
But first, let me share my clickable pin so you can help spread the word. (Thanks, you’re a pal!)
Now, here’s how this “trick” (it’s not really a trick — it’s a Pinterest traffic strategy) goes…
How to use Pinterest Audience Insights
Open Pinterest’s Analytics > Audience Insights.
Look at Interests. Health interests in my case, since my account is focussed on “ALL THINGS NATURAL HEALTH“.
You’ll see a list of the most popular keywords in your market These would be the keywords with the BIGGEST audience on Pinterest. This is the part of the lake where there are MOST fish.
Worth targeting them, I’d say.
Just so it’s super clear what I’m saying, here’s my list of Health interests…
So, having recently discovered this from a far more experienced Pinterester, I now plan on creating several new boards with EXACTLY these names. To connect with these large Pinterest marketplaces.
Note to self: I already have boards about these topics, but not with exactly these words as the board title. I’ll look at just changing the names of some boards. If I do, the board descriptions might need a little tweaking too.
I hope my little post here helps you too.
Please pin me!
PS: I’ve been writing notes about my Pinterest journey for some weeks now. I figure they could be of value to other pinners. If you find them useful, please share the link. Thanks!
